Ralph C. Lovelace, 83, of Fayetteville, N.C., and formerly of Rugby, Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
He was born May 18, 1930, at Rugby to the late Basil Lovelace and Zurie Farmer Lovelace.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Virgie L. Davis; and five brothers, Ed, Phipps, Art, Kelly and Fielden Lovelace.
Survivors include two sons and spouses, Randy and Brenda Lovelace of Ennice, N.C., and Steve and Stacey Lovelace of Saint Pauls, N.C.; two daughters and spouse, Donna and Steve Hall of Ferguson, N.C., and Teresa Lovelace and friend, Dale Catron of Rural Retreat, Va.; five grandchildren, Brian Lovelace, Sean Turnmire, Chris Lovelace, Jayme Lovelace and Hunter Cable; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Haw Orchard Baptist Church, Rugby, Va. The Rev. Randy Lovelace officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Military rites were conducted by Grayson County VFW
