Agnes Price Thompson, 89, of Max Meadows, Va., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at her home.
Agnes enjoyed cooking, quilting and attending worship at Siloam Gospel Tabernacle where she was a member.
Agnes was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Lee Price; her second husband, Howard T. Thompson; two brothers, Wilkes Porter and Ed Porter; and three sisters, Marie Porter, Dorothy Price and Carrie Price.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia and David Zimbro of Cocoa, Fla., Gary and Mary Price of Max Meadows, Va., and Ernest Price and girlfriend, Debbie Cline of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; one brother, Blaine and Irene Porter of Max Meadows, Va.; one sister, Phebe and Sam Keeton of Buffalo Junction, Va.; one grandson, Christopher Lee Price of Max Meadows, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and close friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Porter and Dwayne Walls officiating. Interment followed at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family received friends on Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Home.
Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
