Anna Mae Quesenberry Allred, 88, of Galax, died Friday, May 25, 2012, in the Golden Living Center. She was born on July 19, 1923, in Montgomery County, to Woodson and Anna Jenkins Quesenberry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cullen Lamar Allred.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Ann A. and William Davidson of Lost Creek, W.Va., and Amy Allred of Galax; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Vicki Allred of Roanoke; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Jeff Callahan will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until time for the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Muscular Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York City, N.Y. 10017.
