Annabel C. Arnold, 80, of Fries, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.
She was born July 6, 1932, in Wythe County, to the late William Henry Coley and Lillie Virginia Dunford Coley.
She was the widow of the Rev. Joe E. Arnold.
Survivors include a son and wife, Tommy and Donna Arnold of Galax; daughter and husband, Betty Jo and Jimmy Lewis of Angier, N.C.; brother and wife, Paul and Gaye Coley of Ivanhoe; three sisters, Arlie White of Hillsville, Ruth Holliday of Thomasville, N.C., and Sue Perez of Wytheville; three sisters-in-law, Alma Arnold of Fries, Laura Coley of Ivanhoe and Sue Coley of Austinville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Sunday at the Cliffview Church of God, Galax, with the Rev. D. G. Fox and the Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. A graveside service was held on Monday in the Fries Pentacostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, was in charge of arrangements.
