Charles Rickey Alley, 57, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012, at home.
He was born April 22, 1955, son of the late Howard and Guida Mabe Alley.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Alley; two brothers, Harry Alley and Micky Harold Alley, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Alley.
Survivors include two daughters and spouses, Emily and Claude Earhart of Austinville, Va., and Sophia and Timothy Wilson of Galax, Va.; one son and fiancée, Charles Richard Alley and Tasha Miller of Ivanhoe, Va.; two sisters, Nancy Akers of Ivanhoe, Va., and Gypsy Alley of Sparta, N.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Wanda Alley of Ivanhoe, Va.; five grandchildren, Sally Armbrister, Mary Armbrister, Matthew Wilson, Shana Wilson and Sierra Llewellyn; and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Reese Funeral Chapel. The family received friends Sunday from 6 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
