Essie Helen Isom Gallimore, 62, of Archdale, N.C., passed away Oct. 8, 2016, at The Henkile Hospice Home in Davidson County, N.C.
She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia, to the late Wayne Isom and the late Geraldine Howard Lauer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Gallimore.
She was a retired seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are Billy Gallimore of the home; daughter Norma Lee Gallimore of Burlington, N.C.; sons Robert Dean Gallimore and Steven Ray Gallimore of Trinity, N.C.; grandchildren Austin Gallimore, Cheyenne Shumate, Ethan Gallimore, Jarret Gallimore; two sisters and brother-in-law Joyce and Joseph Mabe, Jr. of Burlington, N.C., and Mable Delaney of Benton.
The funeral was Tuesday in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, N.C., with burial in the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery.
