Eunice Alverta Dyke, 86, of Independence, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Richlands to Turman and Maude Osborne Baldwin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Norman Dyke.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bob Carlson of Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Rose Dyke of Independence; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Roland officiating.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 2, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Forest United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Gooch officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International.
The family will be at the home of Larry and Rose Dyke on Monday after the memorial service where friends may call at any time.
