Irene Laveta (Dalton) Spangler, 90, of Laurel Fork died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Alcora Dalton.
Survivors include her husband, Garland B. Spangler of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Spence and friend Everett Sutphin of Laurel Fork and Norma and Lowell Pratt of Willis; son, Roger Spangler of Hillsville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral was held on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker and Pastor Jason Pratt officiating. Burial followed in the C.B. Webb Cemetery.
