Kyle R. Paisley Jr. 83, of Troutdale, Va., passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C.

He was born July 28, 1929, at Mouth of Wilson, Va., to the late Kyle R. Paisley Sr. and Virginia Chandler Paisley.
He was a well-known paving company operator and sole owner of Paisley's Paving Company, Independence, Va.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lessie Perkins Paisley of the home; two sons, Kyle R. Paisley III and wife Connie of Independence and Scott Paisley and wife Mary of Troutdale; four daughters, Martha Funk and husband Charles of Troutdale, Anna Paisley and Joe Murray of Galax, Deborah Wooten and husband David of Independence and Sandora Winebarger and husband Ray of West Jefferson, N.C.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Jo Sage of Rugby, Va.; sister-in-law, Opal Johnson of Roanoke, Va.; and brother-in-law, Blair Perkins of Long Island, N.Y.
A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Young's Chapel Baptist Church, Mouth of Wilson, Va. The Rev. Doug Turnmire and the Rev. Doug Halsey officiated. Interment was in Young's Chapel Cemetery.
Military rites were conducted by Grayson County VFW Post 7726.
