Linda Dale Freeman, 68, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at her home in Independence.
She was born Dec. 22, 1944, in Independence to the late Rev. John Adams and Mildred Shores Adams.
She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Freeman.
Survivors include two daughters, Candi Freeman of Elk Creek and Lisa Wright of Blandinsville, Ill.; two grandchildren; step-mother, Margaret Adams of Clover, S.C.; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Johnny Dinsmore of Richmond, Lois Wilkerson of Pfafftown, N.C., Martha and Gary Frye of Clover, S.C., Marie and Al Yates of Galax, Sandra and Kendell Smoak of Dallas, N.C., and Evelyn and David Brooks of Clover, S.C.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Leslie Adams and Bill and Tina Knox of Clover, S.C.; several nieces, nephews; and many friends.
A funeral was held Nov. 4, 2013, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence. The Rev. Bill Guy officiated. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
