Worth Lynwood Cox, 93, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Trinity Mission of Hillsville.
Cox was born in Galax, Va., to the late Samuel Cleveland and Rita Wilkinson Cox. 
Survivors include his wife, Grace Kyle Cox of the home; children and spouses, Rita and Jim Parker of Hillsville, Worth and Kathy Cox Jr. of Gladys, Va., and S.C. Cox of Hillsville; grandchildren, George Parker, Christina Barton, Kelly Breedlove, Kyle Cox, Kimberly Cox, Brandon Cox, Courtney Cox, Brent Cox and Yolanda Zepeda; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Parker, Graham Parker, Clark Breedlove, Chloe Breedlove, Lacey Cox, Junior Zepeda, Alex Zepeda and Andrew Zepeda.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 2 p.m. with Pastor Robert Smith and the Rev. Pam Sutherland officiating. Burial followed in Felts Cemetery. The family received friends at the church on Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
