Paul D. "Pops" Myers, Jr., 75 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday morning at home following an extended illness.
Paul was born April 3, 1937 in Adrian, OH to the late Paul D. Myers Sr. and Eileene (Barret) Myers.
He was married March 18, 1961 to Ella L. (Feight) Myers who survives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step mother Elsie Blody Myers, granddaughter Tiffany, and brothers, John and Stephan Myers.
Paul is also survived by children Sally A. Vallejo, Tiffin; Edna M. (Daniel) Cress; Paul D. Myers III and wife Denise; Elsie L. Fisher; and Leo J. (Misty) Myers all of Bucyrus; 12 grandchildren, Chris, Kelly, Jessica, Ashley, Jason, Joshua, Cory, Tony, Robert, Janelle, Tyler, and Hannah; step grandchildren Kate and Paul; numerous great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul drove truck for over 40 years for various trucking firms. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, affiliated with the First Church of the Nazarene and in his early years the Salvation Army. Paul loved going to flea markets, fishing, and computers.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday March 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and memorials may be made to Home Care Matters Hospice.
