Daugherty, Patty A. - Galion  
Patty A. Daugherty, 49, of Galion, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at her home surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. Patty was born in Tiffin on May 4, 1967, to Gary C. Cole of Tiffin and Rose M. (Zimmerman) Cole of Galion. She married Cliff L. Daugherty on January 26, 1992, and he survives her. Patty was employed by General Mills and had worked there since 2003. Patty was proud of her grandchildren and loved her family. An enthusiastic Bingo player, she always took her good luck troll with her to the Bingo Hall. She enjoyed attending yard sales and every year she could be found at the Lincoln Highway Sale. Patty was bullheaded to the end and never quiet fighting her illness the last four years. Patty is survived by her children; Andy Castle, Portsmouth and Heather Adams, Bucyrus, her eight grandchildren; Madison Castle, Keelyn Castle, Jayden Adams, McKenzie Kildow, Miley Castle, Damion Castle, Baily Castle, and Willow Castle, her sister; Pamela Zealor, Bucyrus, her brother; Gary "Junior" Cole, Bucyrus, and her sister; Penny (Tim) Ute, Galion and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 13 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in care of the funeral home. The Mark A. Dunn, Dale - Butler  
Generous and kind-hearted, Dale Dunn could see the potential in anyone or anything. A loving and devoted family man, he was not one to boast or want attention, but offered a quick wit and fun sense of humor. Described as a good husband and father, Dale L. Dunn passed away Sunday August 20, 2016, in Colonial Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was 76. The son of Ray and Pauline (Simmons) Dunn, Dale was born February 9, 1940, at home in rural Ashland County. From 1957-1962 he served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged. As a young man, he first worked delivering milk. An experienced welder and mechanic, for nearly 25 years he worked at Westinghouse and more recently worked for Newman Technology. In his younger years, he built, modified and raced his own race car. He loved tractors, and even more so, getting them for a good deal at auction. He would drive across the state looking for the best deals at auctions. Dale never met a dollar box he didn't like. He collected tractors, his favorite were Silver Kings, made in Plymouth. Dale also enjoyed traveling to tractor shows. He was a past member of the Silver King Club. Dale is survived by his loving wife Shirley (Wolfgang) Dunn of Butler whom he married May 2, 1975; daughter Dorie Dunn of Butler; brother Ronald (Nancy) Dunn of Marion; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Pauline Dunn. The Dunn family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, 2016, from 4-7 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where his funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor Brandon Keck will officiate and burial will follow in Zion Four Corners Cemetery near Butler. Memorial contributions to the Worthington Township/Butler Rescue Squad may be made through the funeral home. Dye, Florence A. - Iberia  
Florence A. Dye, 94, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Woodside Village, Mt. Gilead. Florence was born in Delaware County on November 28, 1921, to the late Perry G. and Minerva E. (Pinney) Martin. She married Homer D. Dye on August 31, 1940, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1989. Florence graduated from Martel High School, Martel and was a member of the 16 Methodist Church, Martel. Florence retired from ITT North Electric as a wireman at Plant 8 after 25 years. She enjoyed knitting and crochetting. Florence is survived by her son Carl (Rosalie) Dye, Iberia, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, one niece in Galion, two nieces in Florida and two nephews in Galion. Florence was preceded in death by her son; Calvin Dye, her daughter-in-law; Phyllis Dye, her brothers; Harold Martin, James Martin and Norman Martin and her sisters; Violet Atkins, Helen Martin and Betty Martin. Friends may call Friday, August 12, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia. Memorial contributions may be made to 16 Methodist Church, Martel in care of the funeral home. The Mark A.
