Margaret F. ''Maggie'' Troiano, 88, Galion, died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Magnolia Terrace, Galion.
Maggie was born in Morral on November 3, 1924, the only child of the late Jay H. and Ola M. (Furniss) Martin. She married Patrick J. Troiano on December 12, 1945 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2010.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galion. Maggie retired as vice-president of the loan department at First Federal Bank, Galion. She was an avid card player.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Judy Troiano of Lenoir City, TN, and John Troiano and Lora D'Andrea of Crestline; her four grandchildren, Bridgete and Brent McKenna of Bellville, Tyson and Teresa Troiano of Cardington, Leea and Billie Butler of Lenoir City, TN, and Natalie and Jacob Julian of Homewood, AL; and her seven great-grandchildren, Rachel McKenna, Hunter McKenna, Patrick Troiano, Lucciano Troiano, William Michael Butler, Jacob Fletcher Julian V, and Adylina Troiano. She was loved by her nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galion, with Fr. John Miller, Celebrant. Burial next to her husband will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Galion.
