Mollie D. Eusey, 71, of Galion, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at home.
Born July 11, 1942 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Borders and Doris M. (Patrick) Borders of Galion. She married William H. Eusey on Dec. 15, 1980 and he survives.
Mollie was a graduate of Iberia High School in 1960 and a member of Whetstone Baptist Church. She was a life member of V.F.W. Post 4329 Auxiliary and a life member of AMVETS Auxiliary. She is a past president of Polk Township AMVETS Post 1979 Auxiliary. In 2006 she was AMVETS Auxiliary State President. Currently, she was a member and serving as the Americanism officer of AMVETS Auxiliary Post 27 in Bucyrus. Mollie was a homemaker and worked at various nursing homes in Galion and surrounding areas as a nurse's aide.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Harold Moody, of Galion and William C. and Andrea Eusey, of Marengo; six grandchildren, Austin, Dallas, Dylon, Lee, Abby and Alexis; four great-grandchildren, Makala, Layne, Jackie and Samantha; one sister, Anita Stiffler of Galion and one niece, Mary Satterfield of Sunbury.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 with Pastor Larry Oxendine officiating. Burial will follow in Bryn Zion Cemetery.
