Viola Sexton Obituary
Born May 17, 1931 in Tazewell Co., Va., she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Rosa Catherine (Murray) Howington. She was preceded in death on Aug. 24, 1987 by her husband, Douglas F. Sexton whom she married on Oct. 3, 1947.
She was a member Miracle Meetings Church in Galion.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores and Guy Colflesh of Mt. Gilead,
Debra and Jesse Scroggins of Iberia, Diane and Scott Colbert of East Liverpool and Donna and Leon Wiese of Woodbridge, Va.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Doug and Sherry Sexton of Caledonia, Donald Sexton of Galion; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, George Howington of Bluefield, Va., Jim and Jean Howington of Bluefield, Va., Harold and Glenda Howington of Florida and Norman Howington of Florida.
She was preceded in death by one great grandson, Steven Lohr, one sister, Mary Smith and five brothers, Noah, John, Mike, Henry and Bobby Howington.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Galion Pointe Activity Fund, 925 Wagner Avenue, Galion, Ohio 44833.
