David A. Larson, 67, of Port Clinton, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at his mother's home in Galion after a long illness.
David was born in Anaheim, CA on July 15, 1945 to Phyllis (Bashford) and the late Elwyn Larson. He and his wife Charolett S. Wilson had twenty-four loving years together.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of several local clubs, including the American Legion. David enjoyed fishing, boating, playing poker, traveling, and spending quality time with his closest friends. He was an avid fan of OSU and the Cleveland Browns.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his three daughters: Crystal Larson, Galion; Valerie Larson, Galion; and Jessica & Justin Nelson, Virginia Beach, VA; his step-daughter Angie & Gary Adkins, Ashland; his step-son Harold & Shirley Kinney, Mansfield; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. A memorial dinner will follow at the American Legion.
