Evelyn Bessinger, age 94, entered the Lord's presence on April 25th, 2014.
Evelyn lived most of her life in Galion, Ohio. She was actively involved in the Peace Lutheran Church and was an avid Bridge player, enjoying games with her friends several days a week. She graduated from Mansfield business School and worked for several years at the North Electric Company. Her latter career was with National Jewelers in Galion. Upon moving to Westerville in 2008, she attended and joined the Grace Brethren Church of Columbus. She graciously lived and called the Village at Westerville her home for the past four years.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Carl, and is survived by her daughter Pamela (Tom) Turner; grandchildren, Nicki (Mick) Smith, Scott (Britton) Turner, and Chris Turner. "GiGi" as she was affectionately called, enjoyed her five great grandchildren.
Family and friends may join in celebrating her life at the HILL FUNERAL HOME in Westerville; 220 S. State St. Receiving hours will be held on Wednesday, April 30th from5:00 – 7:00 PM.
A celebration service will be held on Thursday, May 1st. at 10:30 in the morning. Interment Iberia Cemetery.
