Janet Evans Freeman, 65, of Marysville died Wednesday evening, May 21st, at her home. She was a professional genealogist and the family historian.
A person of great faith went home to be with her Lord and Savior following some months of failing health.
Jan was born August 16, 1947 in Bellefontaine to the late James L. and Phyllis Rutter Evans Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Carpenter of Powell; 2 grandchildren, Jayda and Andre; siblings, Cheryl (David) Beach, Jay (June) Evans both of Marysville, Jill Evans of Mansfield, Jim (Kim) Evans of East Liberty, Tami (Troy) Cox of Marysville; many nieces and nephews; and very good friends, Dixie and Brownie.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:30pm Tuesday at the Bible Baptist Church, 404 S. Oak St., Marysville, with Pastor Jeremy Stout officiating. Burial will be held in East Liberty Cemetery next to her father.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Windsor & Community Seniors, Inc. or the Bible Baptist Church in care of Ingram Funeral Home, 975 N. Maple St., Marysville, who is completing arrangements.
