Glenn L. Davis, 56, of Galion went to be with His Lord Tuesday on July 8, 2014 at his residence. His death was unexpected.
Born February 4, 1958 in Mt. Vernon he was the son of Paul L. and Betty (Cockrell) Davis.
Glenn was a graduate of Galion High School in 1977 and was formerly employed by the Hi-Lo Trailer Manufacturing Company. He attended the Galion First Church of the Nazarene while growing up and was a member of the caravan program at the church where he earned the Trailblazer Daniel Boone Citation Award.
In addition to his parents he is also survived by his daughters, Stephanie Davis of Galion and Shelli Kidd of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Tyler, Kimberlee, Dylan, Sabrina, Dustin and Brandon and sister, Gail Mills of Galion.
His maternal grandmother, Betty Cockrell, just recently preceded him.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Galion First Church of the Nazarene, 777 Fairview Ave., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, with Dr. Rick McCartney officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Galion First Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
