Beatrice Sue Ginn, 52 of Galion passed away on Saturday afternoon after a 5 year courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 22, 1960 in Galion to the Late Kerman Ginn and Lela (Cook) Hillis who survives residing in Newport Ritchy, FL. with her close friend Donald Spinnelli.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Wendy) Carter of Bucyrus and Tim Woods of Galion. Grandchildren, Lane Carter, Mara Maddle, and Jaden Maddle, of Bucyrus and Jamie Carter, Isaac Carter, Alissa Heckert, Melanie Heckert, and Tristin Woods of Galion.
Also surviving are her sisters, Rita Comer of Galion, Rebecca Smith of Mansfield; Her very special friends, Mark Clayton, Scott (Tina) Plaster of Galion and the center of her life, her dog "Baby".
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Kevin Carter, Step Father, Robert Hillis, Mother in Law, Wanda Harper, Father in Law, Willard "Cub" Harper, and Brother in Law, Donald Castle.
She worked for Peco II for several years and Hi-Stat in Lexington as a line supervisor until her illness. She lived most of her life in Galion; she was a high school graduate and continued her education with Hi-Stat. She was a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church, spent her time sewing, making crafts, watching the Tennessee Titans play, planting flowers, enjoying time with her family and walking her dog "Baby".
The family would like to give a special thank you to her nurse Ernie.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Monty Trammel officiating. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Home Care Matters Hospice through the funeral home.
Also, a memorial dinner will be held on Saturday, November 10 at 4 p.m. It will be held at 815 Richardson Avenue, Galion. Please bring an open dish.
