Verlin Eugene Sulser, Sr. of Columbus, Georgia, 88, passed away October 12, 2012.
Born March 14, 1924 in Galion, Ohio to the late Frank J. and Pearl (Craner) Sulser.
Verlin was a retired E-7 with the U.S. Army after serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam Wars. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Verlin is preceded in death by his parents, along with his brother Frederick F. Sulser (who went down with the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor); sisters Helen Stahl, Marlene LaRue and his wife Eula Cravens Sulser.
He is survived by his wife (Marie) Margie Sulser; sisters Luella LaRue of Galion; Marie Nash of Marion, Ohio; daughters Elaine Scott of Augusta, Georgia; Catherine (Robert) Hart of Phoenix, Arizona; Vickie (Lee) Landon of Marietta, Georgia and son Alan (Chonghwa) Sulser of Johnscreek, Georgia, and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
