Mary I. Sullivan, 93, of Galion, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Olentangy Woods Nursing Center in Galion.
Born Apr. 22, 1920 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Emma (Schnarrenberger) Britton.
She was a graduate of Galion High School and a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Galion.
Mary's greatest joy in life was raising her three daughters. Following that, she embarked on a new career in real estate that spanned over 30 years beginning with Fred Barr Realty Company and retiring from Craig Miley Realty, both of Galion.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Bill Lott of Grand Rapids, Mich.,
Francie and Norbert Freese of East Lansing, Mich. and Kathleen Sullivan and Dr. Jack Jackson of Santé Fe; five grandchildren, Kathleen (Brian) Snodgrass, Ann Lott and Vik Srinivasan, Elizabeth (John) James, Ben Freese and Karl Freese and three great-grandchildren, Kate Snodgrass, Ben Snodgrass and Maya Srinivasan.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Bonnar, Hazel Trefz and Betty Teller, her brother, John Britton and her previous husband, Francis J. Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion with Pastor Richard Genzman officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
