DETROIT, Mich. - Tarrie Allen Aiken, 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Detroit, MI.
A native of Transylvania County, NC, he was the husband of the late Frances Aiken. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Jones.
Surviving are his sons, Tarrie Allen Aiken, Jr. of Gastonia and Tracy Aiken of Detroit, MI; daughters, Tammie Aiken of Lincoln Park, MI and Pamela Aiken of Detroit; brothers, Arthur Aiken of Brevard, NC and Edward Aiken of Mt. Holly, NC; sister, Molly Carver of Mt. Holly; 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held noon Wednesday in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Old Toxaway Baptist Church Cemetery.
