STANLEY - Katrena W. Chaney, 91, died March 28, 2013, at the Brian Center of Lincolntom.
She was a native of Guilford County, daughter of the late James and Addie Williams.
She was a retired textile worker from Apex in Charlotte and a long term member of First Baptist Church in Stanley.
Survivors include her five sons, Dean and his wife Libby, Jerry and his wife Cindy and Randy and his wife Sandy Chaney of Lincolnton, Robert Chaney Jr. of Saucier, MS, and Steve Chaney of Waco; daughter, Katrina and her husband John Cloninger of Concord: two sisters, Dot Alwran and Norma Howell of Stanley; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tony Fulbright and the Rev. Eric Chaney will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist, Stanley.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 North Cedar St. Lincolnton, NC 28092 and Brian Center of Lincoln County, 515 South General Blvd, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mt Holly is serving the family.

Your Mom was a sweet lady. My Dad is also at Brian Center and we visited her and Mrs. Ballard regularly. God bless you all. Heaven has a wonderful addition.
