Booth, Corliss* - Clover  
CLOVER, S.C. - Corliss "Sam" Barker Booth, 73, passed away May 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born Feb. 12, 1943, a native of York County, the daughter of the late Canny and Martha Barker. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over 38 years Donald Booth; daughters Terri Lynn Booth of Gastonia and Dinina Shrader and husband Benji Hale of Stanley; step-son Mike Shrader of Clover; grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Shrader, Tiffany Bennett, Ashley Shrader and John Shrader; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Jimmy Barker and wife Myra and Steve Barker and wife Sandie of Gastonia; sister Bobbie Gibson and husband Danny of Gastonia and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Richard Cole. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia. Bramlett, Rebecca - Shelby  
SHELBY - Rebecca Christine Bramlett, 63, passed away May 4, 2016 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born June 11, 1952 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Tate and Miriam Clary Turner. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Bost, Ruth* - Salisbury  
Ruth Elizabeth Holt Bost, 87, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, surrounded by her daughters, on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Ruth was born on Dec. 1, 1928, to the late Jap Odell and Pearl May Holt in Rowan County. Because of declining health, Ruth lived the last few years in assisted living and spent the last year at Grace Ridge Retirement Community in Morganton. Ruth was a graduate of Boyden High School. She attended cosmetology school after high school graduation, but her life's work was wife, mother and homemaker. She was also the bookkeeper for and actively involved in her husband's business, Conrad Bost General Contractor. She was a lifelong active member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church where she served as Deacon, Sunday school teacher, VBS director and many other ministries. She was in the Gideons Auxiliary for many years, a ministry she shared with her late husband, Conrad Wilson Bost. Ruth is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Danny Yost of Morganton, Cathy and Rob Gourley of Newport News, Va., Jan and Phil Baucom of Gastonia, and Pat and David Lane of Fort Calhoun, N.E.; her brother and sister-in-law Earl and Evelyn Holt of Gastonia, and sister-in-law Maryan Holt of Burnsville; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister and brother-in-law Ola Mae and Raymond Overcash, brother Floyd Holt, and brother and sister-in-law Edward and Ruth. The celebration of life service for Ruth will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, 817 S. Main St., Salisbury. The family will receive visitors in the church parlor from 1 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at Rowan Memorial Park following the service. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, Salisbury North Camp, P.O. Box 576, Salisbury, NC 28145-0576; Grace Ridge Enhancement Fund, 500 Lenoir Rd., Morganton, NC 28655; or Stallings Memorial Baptist Church, 817 S. Main St., Salisbury, NC 28144. BELMONT - Ralph Franklin Bryant, 82, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. He was born on Nov. 1, 1933 in Mecklenburg County, to the late Frank Phillip Bryant and Annie Lee Huitt Bryant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alene Bryant. Ralph was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Duke Power. Left to cherish his memories are his extended family and friends. A graveside service for Ralph will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday April 30, 2016 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the graveside.
