SHERRILLS FORD - Rachael Ann Reese, 19, of 6913 Wateredge Drive, died July 29, 2015. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Rachael was born August 4, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Kari and Andy Reese. Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Reese family.

Vina Robinson, 99, died July 26, 2015, at Brookdale Place Robinwood. Born in Murphy, she was the daughter of the late James Madison and Mary Decker. She was preceded in death her husband, Carmon Robinson; sisters, Edna Kalston, Georgia Flahive, Jennie Bradley, Mae Hampson, Vesta Lewis; brothers, Joe Decker and Harry Decker. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Survived by son, Ronald Robinson (Janice), Gastonia; sisters, Marjorie Riley, Kannapolis, Mary Ger-man, Whiting, N.J.; grandchildren, Brian Robinson (Lisa), Greg Robinson (Susan); great-grandchildren, Zackery, Andrew, Logan, Jaret and Jordan. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Covenant United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Dixon and Vic Wilfong officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church, 801 W. Rice, Geraldine* - Lake Wylie  
Gerri Rice went to see Jesus' face on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Gerri is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Irdell Rice, parents, brothers Rudy Cannon and Max Green, and sister Annette Maddox. She is survived by daughter Rita Rice Ledford and partner Ada Vallecorsa, of Greensboro, and daughter Kelly Walter and husband Ken, of Fort Mill, S.C. Gerri was born in Rock Hill, S.C., to Harry and Lucille Cannon. She was a beautician and married Irdell on Oct. 7, 1950. They lived in Gastonia, where Gerri received her GED and went on earn her real estate Broker's License and eventually own her own real estate company. She retired from real estate in 1995 and moved to Lake Wylie, where she lived until her death. Gerri lived, in her words, "in the best cove with the greatest neighbors in the world." Gerri was a member of River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, S.C. Gerri is loved by all who knew her. She could and would talk to anyone and truly never met a stranger. Gerri was a very kind and loving mother and person. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and all those who benefited from her generosity, many baked goods and great smelling kitchen. A memorial service to celebrate Gerri's wonderful life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at River Hills Community Church, 104 Hamiltons Ferry Road, Lake Wylie, SC 29710. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Narthex. The family would like to thank the Care and Kindness Committee of RHCC for the many cards and goodie bags, the loving staff at Lake Wylie Assisted Living and Agape Hospice Care for the wonderful care of our mother. SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Janice Odessa Hall Richey, 77, of High Drive, widow of Joe A. Richey, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 24, 2015, at Park Place Assisted Living. Born Feb. 2, 1938 in Weedville, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Thomas K. Hall and Anna Beck Hall. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Keowee Baptist Church in Honea Path, S.C. Rouse, Billie*  
Billie H. May Rouse went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2015. Mrs. Rouse was a retired teacher and school principal and was a long-time Sunday school teacher. She held a bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman University and graduate degrees from Western Carolina University and Fayetteville State University. Lately she had lived at Summit Place, a residential care home in Kings Mountain. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Ronald and Bessie P. Holland and her first husband, Lieut. Colonel Chaplain Huel E. May. She is survived by her husband, Michael Rouse of Goldsboro; sister, Ann Hardin and husband, Carroll, of Gastonia; brothers, Hugh Holland and wife, Carolyn, of Kings Mountain and Ronnie Holland, of Rob-binsville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 S. Madison Avenue, Goldsboro, officiated by the Rev. Robert C. Fulkerson. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
