Amber Browning

DALLAS - Amber Shea Browning, 20, died Oct. 7, 2012.

She was a student at Gaston College – Lincoln Campus, and was a member of the Stanley Rescue Squad for 4 years, where she was a Certified Medical Responder.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Mary Browning and an uncle, Larry Ellis.

Survivors include her parents, Greg B. and Regina Ellis Browning of the home; a brother, Gregory Browning II and fiancée, Ashley Warren of the home; her nanny, Phyllis B. Hatfield of Logan, W. Va.; her mamaw, Doris Ellis of Logan, W. Va.; uncles and aunts, Robert Ellis and wife Janet, Kathy Ad-kins and husband Carl, Eugene Filllutzi, De Anna McKnight and husband Roscoe, Mary Ruth Newsome and husband Mose, Joyce King, Carol England and husband Eric, Ashley Rae Varney and Suzie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, very special friends Kenny and Shona Hager, Courtney Cohen and Nick Bright, and daddy number two, Don Woodall.

A service to celebrate the life of Amber will be held 4 p.m. Thursday in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with the Rev. Patti Toler officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
