Andrew Parker

DALLAS - Andrew Eugene Parker, 71, passed away Nov. 9, 2012, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas.

He was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Gaston County, son of the late Andrew Parker and Eddie Mae Brown.
Andrew was a native of Gaston County. He loved fishing, boating, camping and the outdoors. Mr. Parker was a U.S. Army veteran who was a gunner, marksman and was in the 82nd Airborne.

A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Westview Gardens, with military honors and will be officiated by the Rev. Ricky Brown.

Mr. Parker is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Linda Reynolds Parker; niece, Cathy Williamson and husband Darrell; nephew, Terry Estes and wife Beverly; one great-niece; four great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; one great-great-great-niece; special cousins, Steve Bailey and wife Pat and-Terry Bailey.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: sister Claudette Estes.

Riverview Baptist Church, Lincolnton will be providing care and support for the family .
