Annie Talley

GASTONIA - Annie Lou Blalock Talley, 90, passed away peacefully on Nov. 25, 2013, at Covenant Village, surrounded by her family.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1922, in Kings Mountain, daughter of the late D.B. and Annie L. Blalock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Talley. Anne and Bill were the founders of Akers Center Florist.

Mrs. Talley is survived by her daughters and their families, Lou Ann and Doug Harris, their son Turner and wife, Rachel, and daughter, Talley; Jann and David Cloninger, their daughter Lindsay, sons, Adam, Andrew and wife, Bernadette, and their daughter, Abbie; Nancy and Mike Robinson, their son Chris and wife Clair, and their daughters, Caroline and Macy; Ginger and John Hood, and their son Austin.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Mrs. Talley beginning at 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.

Burial will be private.
