BLACKSBURG, S.C. - Arnold Price, 74, passed away Aug. 7, 2013, at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas.
He was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Gaston County, son of the late James "Porky" Price and Genevieve McFalls Price.
Mr. Price was a retired International Representative for the United Paper Workers International Union AFL.CIO-CLC. Arnold loved cooking Barbeque and was known as the "Pig Man." His favorite hangout was the River Rat Restaurant in Lake Wylie. He served on the reunion commit-tee of the 8th grade class of Myrtle School. He was a US Navy
veteran and a member of the VFW

The family would like to give special thanks to two loving angels who cared for Arnold, Amy and Nicole and also to the staff of Gaston Hospice.
A service to celebrate Arnold's life will be held 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gasto-nia officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia with military honors.
Arnold is survived by: his loving companion, Kay; her daughter, Kim; grandson, Trent; son, Robert "Rob" Price; best friend, Steve Phillips; cousin and friend, Barbara Davis.
