Gayle Parker

BELMONT - Gayle Lynn Parker, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 7, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Peggy Harwell Parker and the late John Alexander Parker.
Gayle was a South Point High School graduate and a member of South Point Baptist Church. She was employed by Charlotte
Eye Ear Nose and Throat, attended UNC-CH and graduated from Gaston College with a degree in Medical Technology. She enjoyed sports, working outdoors and was an avid UNC Tarheel fan.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Dianne R. Parker of the home, Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Jim Harwell, Aunt JoAnn Lawing, special cousins; Molly and Doc Lawing, Joe and Nicki Lawing and several cousins. Also, Great Aunts Jackie Wilson, Ruby Agnew, Helen Broome, Great Uncle Jack Harwell and special friend Randy Beheler.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. Saturday at McLean Funeral Directors, Belmont.

The funeral service will follow 3 p.m. with Rev. Joe Lawing and Doc Lawing officiating.

Interment will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Gaston Memorial Park.
