MIDLAND - Juanita Devada Trexler Buchta, 84, of 13204 Peppercorn Lane, died Feb. 27, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews.
A native of Lexington, she was born Nov. 20, 1923, the daughter of the late William Wakefield Trexler and Mary Sue (Wilson) Trexler.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick Buchta of Midland; son, Robert Pearson of Charlotte; daughters, Barbara House and husband Lamar of Gastonia and Shirley Bradley and husband Dr. Terry "Skip" Bradley of Cramerton; sisters, Sadie Tutteron of Salisbury, Delores Younts and husband Zan of Lexington and Mary Gray of Lexington; brother, Bob Trexler and wife Evelyn of Mocksville; sister-in-law, Irene Trexler of Lexington; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Brewer and a brother, Elmer Trexler.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neil Crowell officiating.
Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Salisbury.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
