Louise Biggerstaff

GASTONIA - Louise Westmoreland Null Biggerstaff, 87, passed away Jan. 29, 2013, at Peak Resources.

A native of Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late Preston and Anna Mae Ingle Null.

Louise loved her family dearly – as they loved her – and will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed country music, gardening and all things of beauty. It is her maternal side where all the love and complete dedication comes from. There are no bounds to a mother's love.

She is survived by her children, Thurman Ray Biggerstaff Jr. and wife, Virginia of Mt. Holly, Richard McLloyd Biggerstaff of Cornelius, Dennis Dean Biggerstaff and wife Gislena of Atlanta; Wanda Lee Black Bunch of Cramerton, and Donna Lorraine (Druce) Biggerstaff of Manhatten; sis-ters, Beatrice Cutcher and Violet Null, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and neph-ews.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Thurman Ray Biggerstaff, Sr.; daughters, Lynda Biggerstaff Johnson and Peggy Lynn Biggerstaff; brother, Odell Null and a sister, Dot Helms.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Cramerton, with Dr. David B. Julen officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
