DALLAS - William Michael "Mike" Jackson, 67, passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C., he was the son of the late William Paul Jackson and Louise Ellison Jackson.
Mike graduated from Mars Hill College where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He served as Plant Manager with Sherman Textiles and Artex International. He also served as Human Resources Manager for Lincoln County and Redirect Coordinator at Stanley Middle School. Mike was an active member of East Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Mike served our country in the US Air Force.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Linda Roebuck Jackson; children, Terri Jackson Jenkins and her husband, Mark K. Jenkins, and Pamela Jackson Huffman and her husband, Darien Huffman; grandchildren, Dalton Jenkins, Cole Jenkins, Carson Jenkins, Brenna Huffman and Seth Huffman; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday at East Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at noon. The Rev. Tim Parker will officiate.
Burial will be at Westview Gardens Cemetery.
