MOUNT HOLLY - Randy Earl Price, 58, of 315 Ridge Drive, died Oct. 29, 2012.
He was son of the late Paul Dixon Price Sr. and Burzell Grindstaff Price.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he was a member of the chancel choir and was a founding member of "The Men of Note." He was a member of the Mount Holly Masonic Lodge #544. He was a Trainer-QI manager with Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was a capnography teaching consultant for Oridian. He helped patent the Life-Stat Machine and he was also a published author.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Smith Price; two daughters, Cathy Price Yount of Morganton and Melissa L. Price of Mount Holly; one brother, Paul Dixon Price Jr. and wife Judy of Garden City, S.C.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Price will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Holly with the Rev. Angela Pleasants officiating.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
