STANLEY - Raymond Odell Bailey, 75, died March 27, 2013, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.
He was born in Rock Hill, S.C., son of the late Kelley H. and Zelma Sarah Adams Bailey.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lynn Bailey, twin brother Ralph Bailey and brother Bill Bailey, and Add twin sisters Winona and Mary sisters, Maybelle, Winona and Mary.
He was retired owner of Bailey Custom Builders in Stanley, and after his retirement he worked at the Gaston County Recycling Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stanley and had attended Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Doris Morris Bailey, son Ricky Bailey and fiancée, Teresa Walters of Iron Station, daughter Lisa Bailey Wil-banks of Stanley; two brothers Jerry Bailey and wife Gladys of Mt. Holly, Jack Bailey and wife Peggy of Lincolnton, two sisters Naomi Reid and husband Bill of Charlotte, Erma Freeland of Elgin, SC, 3 grandchildren Bailey Danielle and Kellen Edward Wilbanks, and Sammie Jo Dellinger; several special nieces and nephews, and numerous lifetime friends.
Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tony Fulbright, the Rev. Dr. Danny Penny, and the Rev. Junior Morris will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 113 East Parkwood St., Stanley.
Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia.
The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
