Sara Beth Craver

INDIAN LAND, S.C. - Sara Beth Collins Craver, 74, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2013.

Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Norman Russell Collins and Frances Stalnaker Collins.

Mrs. Craver was a 1956 graduate of Ashley High School and attended Kings Business College in Charlotte. She was an Orthodontist Assistant before working for many years as a Visual Merchandiser with Matthews Belk. She was baptized and attended the First Baptist Church in Gastonia and served as a volunteer at the Holy Angels House of Mercy.

Mrs. Craver is survived by her children and their spouses, Luke Whisnant, Lisa and David Cox, Elizabeth and Kris Schmitz, John and Sandi Whisnant, Jayne and Dan Lanier, Peter and Rachael Dawyot; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Becky Collins; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service beginning 1 p.m. Friday in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Gastonia. Dr. Ray Ammons and Rev. JoLynn Prochaska will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
