Wanda Cox

STANLEY - Wanda Denise Webber Cox, 51, of 322 Winding Trail, passed away July 1, 2013.

She was born in Anderson, S.C., daughter of Sarah Frances Webber and the late Kenneth Robert Webber. She was preceded in death by her grand-parents Walter and Beulah English and Grandfather John Frank Webber. She was a graduate of Gaston College with a Nursing Degree. She served in nursing for over 25 years. She was a member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Mount Holly.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter Heather Nichole Cox of Stanley; grandson, William Robert Cox of Stanley; two sisters, Crys-tal Oglesby and husband Wayne of Mount Holly and Carlie Webber of South Carolina; her grandmother, Thelma L. Webber; nephews, Jeremy Webber and Philip and Kenneth Grogan; great nephews, Klayton and Noah Grogan and Izick Webber; great niece, Maeson Grogan; best friend, Jane Anderson Harn.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Cox will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Mount Holly with the Rev. Herman Winkler officiating.

Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
