To the Manning family, I am very sorry for the loss of such a fine lady. There are no words that I could compose that will lessen the hurt that you may feel at this time. However, may you find strength in knowing that she has moved on to the greater afterlife and will join in heaven with family and extended family. Lucille was a prominent figure for me as a child and on through the passing of my grandparents. Lucille was a part of our family and sternly at times a person that helped me grow and mature. The last time I saw Cille was at my grandfathers funeral where we rode together in the family funeral car from the church to the grave site and back to the family reception. There is no doubt in my mind the world has become less of a place without her. She had the ability to pick you up when you were down and also put you in your place when you, as she would say, "Got too big for your britches". Even at those time she had the tact to put you in your place and still make you feel good about yourself. I know the lord has a special place for you in heaven, you definitely earned it from the years of service to the Stowe and McArver families. Thank you for all that you did and your lessons you shared with all of us will never be forgotten. I pray that your soul will rest in peace beside God the father almighty. Thank you for all that you did for my family and me.
