Frances Keeter Obituary
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Hayes Rabb. Mrs. Keeter worked with her beloved husband for many years at the Hickory Pure Oil and Center Shell service stations. She also worked for the Hickory City Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 48 years, Clayton J. Keeter and nine sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Morris W. Keeter and Marsha Agner Keeter; a grandson, S. Brent Keeter; her loving companion, Billy Ray Parker; a sister, Minnie Rabb Hopper; a devoted niece, Shirley Lancaster; and extended family including Iva J. Mellon.
A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at Catawba Funerals and Cremations Chapel by the Rev. Scott Hooks. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Becky Fulbright and other caring neighbors and friends as well as Nancy Allen and all of the faithful ladies in the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1225 29th Ave. Dr. N.E., Hickory, NC 28601

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing we were neighbors for years before the death of your father.
We were a young family, your parents looked after us and our daughter.

Morris, Marsha & Brent,
I read with sadness about "Keeters" passing. I remember our Mom, Essie Lookadoo, calling your Mom that. Likewise, your Mom called Essie, "Lucky". They were such good friends and I will always treasure that. My condolences to you all. May God bless you in the coming days also.
