CHERRYVILLE - Gregory Neil Cox, 57, of 205 Jacob Street, died April 10, 2013, at Robin Johnson House.

He was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Tifton, Ga., son of the late Charles Cox and Doris L. Hobbs Cox of Tifton, Ga.

Greg was owner and CEO of Precise Power Services, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a former County Commissioner.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Patrick Cox, in 2003 and a brother Kenny Cox.

Survivors include his wife Robin Beam Cox of the home, two daughters Betsy Cox Dellinger and husband Travis of Cherryville,
Margaret Cox of the home, two grandchildren Jack and Ned Dellinger of Cherryville, two sisters Brenda Brewer and Tammy Cox both of Tifton, Ga.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at City Memorial Cemetery Saturday, with the Rev. Perry Holleman officiating.

The family will receive friends 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Legacy Church, 10601 Par Cove Lane, Charlotte, NC 29277.
