DALLAS - Inez Kiser McCconnell, 79, of 616 Kiser Dairy Road, died Nov. 21, 2012, at her home.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late O.L. and Inez Chadwick Kiser.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wells McConnell.

She was a member of Dallas Four Square Church. In her early years, she was a school teacher, then stopped to raise her family, and later partnered with her husband to manage the family's rental properties.

Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Barker and husband Brent of Dallas, Beth Foster and husband, the Rev. David Foster of Seaboard; a son, Lee McConnell of Dallas, and four grandchildren, Jessica and Cole Barker, Nicole and Caitlin Foster, and her stepmother, Violet Kiser of Cherryville.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church with the Revs. Fred Morrison and David Foster officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly and other times at the home of Gewn Barker, 606 Kiser Dairy Road, Dallas.
