GASTONIA - Juel P. "Butch" Quinn, 64, of 1138 Lynhaven Drive, departed this life on April 29, 2013, in the Robin Johnson House, Dallas

He was born in Gaston County on March 15, 1949, son of the late John L. Wright and Emma N. Quinn.

He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Gastonia, and a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Clark Quinn; son, Randy Watson (Arinza) of Charlotte; two sisters, Beverly A. Quinn and Pamela R. Quinn both of Gastonia; three grandchildren, Randy Jr., Cameron and Zaeta Watson, all of Charlotte; two nieces, Iris "Nikki" Quinn of Gastonia, and Raven Quinn of Durham; great-nephew, Master Jordan Quinn of Gastonia, North Carolina.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Epworth United Methodist Church, 1325 Linwood Road, Gastonia.

Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service Friday at the church.

Interment will be at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.

Memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 1325 Linwood Road, Gastonia, and Robin Johnson House, 5005 Shephards Way Drive, Dallas.
