In later years, Louise continued her love of music by leading the music at Covenant Village's Vesper Service.

A member of the JOY Ladies Sunday School Class and XYZ Fellowship at Parkwood, Louise gave freely of her time by working with children's programs and youth groups throughout the years. Louise was an active Lionette member of the Gastonia Evening Lion's Club where Charles had once served as President.
