SHELBY ? Aileen Wiggins Walker, 88, of Shelby, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 10, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center under Hospice care.
Born Jan. 6, 1925, in Lincoln County, Aileen was the daughter and the last surviving child of the late Guy W. Wiggins and Vernie Watts Wiggins.
Pines nursing staff and Hospice provided excellent care with dignity throughout her last days. Also, much gratitude is given to the staff at Shelby Manor, where she lived for three years prior to her death.
Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday May 14, 2013, at Dover Baptist Church with Dr. Ervin Price III officiating. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday May 13, 2013, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at 840 Greenbrook Drive, Shelby.
