MOUNT HOLLY - Alpha "Pinky" Ruppe Sisk passed away Jan. 3, 2013, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Cherokee County, S.C., daughter of the late James Homer and Lonie Ruppe Ruppe.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Virgil Sisk, Everette Ransom Hensley; brothers, James and Billy Ruppe and sisters, Agnes Wallace and Inez Ruppe.
Pinky was a member of Spencer Mountain Baptist Church. She retired from Pharr Yarns as a section supervisor.

Survivors of Mrs. Sisk include her sisters, Eula Mae Johnson, Lunette Bridges and husband Gene, Martha Gibson and husband Joe; a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and special friend, Sam May.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Spencer Mountain Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Spencer Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Rumfelt and Virgil "Buck" Harper officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.
