LINCOLNTON - Betty Ann Reep Houser, 70, of 756 Shoal Road, died Jan. 3, 2013.
Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethphage Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Mitschke officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m.prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Houser was born Jan. 18, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert Pinkney and Elizabeth Ellen Allen Reep.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Catherine Reep Craig and her husband, Gerald Craig, nephew Tim Reep, brother-in-law, Gene Gladden Houser, and sister-in-law, Patricia "Pat" Reep. She worked as a teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Houser of the home; five brothers, James "Jim" Reep and wife Betty, Robert Reep, David Wayne Reep and wife Annette, Dean "Deanie" Reep and wife Vickie, and Ray Reep and wife Patty, two sisters, Joyce Costner and hus-band Clyde and Loraine Keever; nieces Quanita Hayes, Maria Reep, Brooke Reep, Tammy Smith, and Gaye Morton; nephews, Robbie Reep, Junior Reep, Michael Reep, Rocky Reep, Kevin Reep, Junior Reep, Randy Costner, and Frankie Costner; eleven great-nieces; ten great-nephews; brother-in-law Caroll Monroe Houser; sisters-in-law, Judy S. Houser, Diane Rudisell and husband Jim Rudisell, and Sandra Lindler and husband Dennis; niece, Gena Houser Tallent; nephews, Jeff Houser, Shawn Houser, Kurt Houser, Bryan Church, Brandon Lindler, and Carson Lindler; eight great-nieces; and six great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation, or to Bethphage Lutheran Church, 3440 Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
