Beulah "Inez" Homesley Rhyne, 82 of 4806 N.C. 27, in Iron Station, died on Friday, June 29, 2012.
Mrs. Rhyne was born April 15, 1930, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late John Jacob and Edna Cloninger Homesley.
She was a faithful member of Pearl Baptist Church, of which her family helped charter. She was a graduate of Lincolnton High School and was retired from JPS Industries Inc.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard Rhyne; sisters, Marie Homesley Fourshee, Pauline Homesley Brown, Lucille Homesley Chronister and Mandy Lee Homesley; brothers, John Henry "Bud" Homesley, Grover C. Homesley and Robert J. Homesley; nephew, Johnny Homesley; and great-niece, Samantha Killian.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillian Homesley Sain; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Shirley Homesley; four nephews; six nieces; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Pearl Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Wensil and the Rev. William Wease officiating.
Burial will follow in the Iron Station Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
