DALLAS - Brandy Nelson Smart, 29, passed away suddenly on May 6, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Gaston County, born July 17, 1982, to the late Steven Nelson Smart, who died Dec. 4, 2011, and Camellia Banks Smart, who died April 18, 2012.
Brandy was a graduate of North Gaston High School. She lived for her nieces Shelby and Rankin they were the apple of her eye.
She loved spending time with them.
Survivors include her beloved sister, Chasity S Watson and husband Rob of Lake Wylie, S.C.; her nieces, Shelby Ann Watson and Rankin Crews Wat-son; uncles, Randy Banks and wife Debbie of Belmont, Tammy Banks and wife Wanda of Stanley; Aunt Bobbie S. Potter of Dallas and cousins, Lynn B. Johnston and Mark Banks.
Celebration of life service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Dickie Spargo officiating.
The family will receive friends 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be at Private at Westview Gardens at a later date.
